A legendary night of 80s tunes kicks off at the Greek Theater on Sunday, August 30th, 2026. Gates open at 5pm, and the show starts at 6! So get ready for a blast from the past featuring Men Without Hats, Oingo Boingo Former Members, Big Country, The Vapors, B-Movie, China Crisis, Missing Persons, Katrina, The Icicle Works, Dramarama, Musical Youth, The Untouchables plus more special guests. Legendary 80s alt-radio personality Richard Blade of 1st Wave on SiriusXM will be hosting this bangin' night.

While the roster may be subject to change, you can bet your life that you’ll see some of the best 80s music ever on stage, brought to you by no other than the original legends themselves. The show will travel to multiple U.S. venues playing to crowds of die hard 80s music fans everywhere. The complete journey through the best of 80s music awaits!

About Big Country

Big Country – With Classic Riffs Of Bagpipes In A Hard-Hitting Rock Framework Big Country is one of the leading bands in Celtic Rock. Formed in Scotland in 1981, the group has 2 Grammy nominations in 1984 for Best New Artist and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. They also have 2 gold selling albums in the U.S. Their first album, The Crossing, was released in 1983 and reached #3 in the U.K. and #20 in the U.S. while their second album, Steeltown, was released in 1986 and reached #1 in the U.K. While known for their strong Celtic influence the band’s songs feature classic riffs and are enjoyed by fans of all ages. Following the tragic death of the bands original lead singer, Stuart Adamson, in 2001, the band’s original guitarist, Bruce Watson, has carried on performing the bands classic and influential songs to sold out audiences worldwide.

About The Vapors

English new wave and power pop band The Vapors is back with their newest album, Wasp in a Jar, released in 2025. Their most recognized song is ‘Turning Japanese’ that reached No.3 in the UK singles chart - getting a lot of airplay around the world. Some of their biggest hits are ‘News at Ten’ and ‘Waiting for the Weekend’. The band went on a long hiatus from 1980-2016, and then The Vapors got reformed by founding members David Goodes and Rick Bentley who bring a lot of energy, passion, and vigors to the band's comeback shows around the world. The Vapors have been managed by Bruce Foxton of The Jam (other than a short period) and bring to the crowds a perfect mix of the edgy songs and the two writers pen, and the really catchy ‘feel good’ songs.

Greek theater Information

This historic outdoor amphitheater is set in the heart of Griffith Park in Los Angeles. With a seating capacity of up to 5,900 to 6,000 per show, it makes beautiful concert nights under the stars. There are many different sections of Reserved Seating at The Greek, so the theater can accommodate a large crowd. The Greek is also wheelchair accessible, with many wheelchair-accessible seating locations to choose from.

 If you are attending a show at The Greek, you can purchase food and drink from concession stands located throughout the venue. There are also some upgraded vendors that carry a selection of gourmet items. If you're making a special trip for the show, there are also many great hotels and other local amenities in the surrounding area to check out as well.
